Cabela....

Or as Aniston calls her, Della had a seizure last night. It was so scary. We're not sure if it's her first one or just the first one we've witnessed but it definately freaked us out. It happened about 10:00 pm and the vet on call said there's nothing really to do because the anti-seizure meds are worse then the actual seizure. So, we have an appt. with our regular vet on Tuesday for her boosters and to discuss the seizure issue.
Our poor furry baby. She's 4 years old and the best puppy, especially with Aniston. She loves her human sister.

Three Christmases......

Well, we had quite the Christmas holiday. I was lucky and took the whole week off work to try and get finished up with my shopping and wrapping. Daycare was open Monday and Tuesday so Aniston went to play while I ran around town. Alysha came home Monday and it was so nice to have both girls home for a few days. She's been so busy working and going to school that she only gets to come home a few times a year.

Wednesday we did Christmas Eve at Gram and Poppy Whitener's like we do every year. Aniston was getting a little impatient having to look at all the presents under the tree so we pulled out Frosty the Snowman and she was content to watch it 2 times, which bought us about an hour. When Eric, Alison, Jamie and Cy showed up.....we hit the presents. Aniston was ripping paper and was really getting into what presents were all about. Then Nana pulled out the big guns and brought out her doll crib and high chair. Aniston couldn't get to it fast enough. She was so excited and her baby was immediately "crying" and had to take a nap. She got her new "Hef" jammies as Erik calls them and was sound asleep in the car on the way home.

Thursday we did Christmas day at our house. Aniston actually slept in so we started Christmas morning at 9:30! She opened all her presents and then wanted to play with her new baby and her crib. Thankfully that wore her out and nap time was just around the corner. Erik's dad, brother and Tio Cruz came over that afternoon for dinner. I made a ham with all the trimmings and we ate and relaxed for the rest of the day.

Friday we went to my dad and Rose's for Christmas with them. Betsy and Dustin met us there and Aniston was so happy to see her Auntie B. Dad and Rose got Aniston a teepee/tunnel/tent thing that has a teepee and tent that are connected with two tunnels. Betsy and Aniston had fun trying to get the teepee put together and chasing each other through the tunnels. Of course skinny little B could fit in the tunnel.

We had a great holiday but I was happy to be back at work and back at our routine.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Years!

Christmas at Ampa's with Auntie B....

Aren't those the cutest tights?
Open it faster Grandma!
Aniston and Auntie B trying to put up her teepee and tunnel.

Here's the tunnel. Skinny Auntie B fit in it with her. They had a blast.

Santa Came.....

Aniston woke up Christmas morning to find out Santa had been at the house. She was so excited to see the dollhouse from Auntie Alysha....she kept saying "wow".

She figured out what presents were all about and had paper flying everywhere. The floor looked like a hamster had been shredding paper.

White Christmas.....

Erik and Aniston took goodies to Mike and Rosie (our neighbors). Aniston still hasn't learned how to walk in her snowboots. Daddy had to carry her most of the way.

Mr. Fixit

Erik has been busy during his xmas break trying to get the attic sheetrocked. It's finally starting to look like a room! Look at his feet. These are his "stilts".

Frosty the Snowman.....

This is what I got when I told her to smile.

Kissing Santa.

Dancing with Frosty.
Today at "school" they watched Frosty the Snowman. Needless to say, that's all she would say last night. This is her dancing while singing the Frosty song. I just had to post these cute pictures.

Girls Trip....

I LOVE room service!

Picking bits of muffin off her jammies.

My little cheese head!

Ever since I can remember my mom, gram and I have gone on a girls trip every year. It usually involves shopping and when I was younger, an activity of some sort such as the zoo. This last weekend we went to Bellevue and stayed at the Hilton for two nights. Friday mom and gram me us at our house and we headed off. Thankfully both passes were bare and dry. Saturday we went to Bell Square and spent 5 hours doing pretty much just Macy's. I LOVE their Macy's. I've been really bad about spending money on myself since I've become a mommy and my clothes show it. So, with mom and gram's help, I have a new wardrobe and I don't look like one of my defendant's in court! We had lunch at the restaurant in Nordstrom's and Aniston did SO good. They had this cute little kids lunch with fruit, cheese and crackers and she was so excited to get her OWN big girl plate. She was such a trooper! After we returned to our room and napped, back to the mall we went. I was able to finish buying some clothes and then Aniston had her melt down. We pushed her a little too much and it was time for bed.
Sunday we went to Trader Joe's in Issaquah and then the North Bend Outlet Mall. We had a great time and poor Aniston slept the whole way home. The drive home was horrible. It was raining so hard that by the time we reached Cle Elum, I had mom take over driving as I was white knuckled. We ended up home around 5:00 and we were so happy to be there. Aniston stripped down to her diaper and a t-shirt and spent the evening snuggling her daddy and showing him her new "colors" (magnadoodle).
I really enjoy and treasure our girls trips. I have SO many fond memories of these times with mom and gram and now with Aniston, I hope she enjoys them as much as I do. I know she loves the hotel life and learned room service is pretty cool. Now she thinks when someone knocks on the door, it's time to eat.

PJ Weekend....

Happy girl fresh from the tub.

She's looking pretty pitiful here!

She loves her Veggie Tales.

Here are a few pictures from yesterday. As you can see......pj's all day!!

Thanksgiving Weekend....

Aniston hasn't figured out that Santa brings presents yet but she has learned he says "ho, ho, ho". She loves to say it.

This is as close as I could get her to the snowman for a picture.

Aniston's handy work of hanging her own ornaments.

Aniston hanging her Pooh and baby ornament.

Our tree.

Four day weekends are wonderful! Thursday had dinner at Gram and Poppy Whitener's new house in Quincy and then Aniston spent her first night with Ampa Cliff and Grandma Rose. Erik and I decided we would brave it and do Black Friday as Aniston wants a power wheels for Christmas and they were having a great sale on them at Walmart. So Ampa and Grandma took her for the night as I couldn't see waking her up at 4:00 to drag around Walmart when I can't even get a gallon of milk with her after work. Needless to say, we still didn't end up with a power wheels.
Friday we did the mad dash shopping trip at 4:00 am and then spent the day putting up the Christmas decorations. I decided I didn't need Aniston's "help" and would have them done before she was brought home from her slumber party. It worked great.

Saturday Aniston went to visit her old baby sitter Stella and her family. Stella has a 15 year old daughter, Claire or Claire Bear as we call her, and Aniston just loves her. So Aniston had a play date while I had my "spa" time of grocery shopping. I'm sure you other mommies can relate that grocery shopping can be zen like if you're childless!! I was able to run 4 errands and grocery shop all in 2 hours since I didn't have my little person with me. I felt over accomplished and so.....

Sunday we did NOTHING!! Erik and I take turns on the weekends on who gets up with the Princess at 6:00 am and who gets to sleep in. Saturday I got up with her and then on Sunday, daddy's day, the little turkey slept in until 9:30! I couldn't believe it. Little stinker. We all did our showers and stuff and put on clean pj's and lounged around all day. It was so nice.

We had a wonderful weekend but I was ready to get back to the grindstone today to return to our regular schedules. I hope everyone had a wonderfuly holiday with your family and friends.
