Weekend Pictures......

Aniston got a pair of cow boots for her birthday from the Lankhaars that she just LOVES....they accessorize her Dora nightie very well, don't you think?!
This is right after Aniston gave Cabela a kiss.....she loves her puppy.
And now Cabela's closing her eyes and wishing that pesky two year old would disappear.
Saturday morning we went out back to clean up the yard. Since it's been so nice after work, we've been playing outside and needed to get it ready for spring.
Daddy and Aniston watering the trees....or what's left of them. We're going to plant raspberry bushes to cover the chain link fence.
Daddy trusted Aniston with the hose. Brave man. Daddy showed Aniston her pockets to warm up her hands. She thought they were pretty neat.

Are You Kidding Me?!........

Well, Aniston is sick AGAIN. She's had a little runny nose the last week or so but it hasn't gotten any worse so we figured she might have allergies since Erik and I have horrible allergies. Last night I picked her up from daycare and was told she was given some cough medicine because she was coughing so hard. Then, when I got home from Weight Watchers, she was weezing heavily and was having a hard time talking to Erik and I. I gave her some cough medicine and gave her a nebulizer treatment since I had some of the medicine left over. Well, this morning she sounded just as bad so I took her to her doctor and she has bronchiolitis AGAIN. The doctor said once she has it, every cold for about the next 6 months or so will result in bronchiolitis. Poor little girl. Needless to say, she's back on the nebulizer for another two weeks.

Aniston's Cute Sayings.....

Sorry I haven't posted any pictures lately, but we've been busy and Aniston is constantly on the go so it's hard to catch her. She has really been "using her words" lately and has come up with some pretty funny little sayings that make Erik and I laugh.
1. The other day Erik was tickling her and she was laughing very hard...then all of a sudden she quit and got this really serious look on her face and said "I no ticklish daddy!".
2. She has gotten tall enough to open the back door by herself so she's allowed to let Cabela in and out of the house by herself. The other day we heard the door shut and her say "good girl Cabela", which is hilarious because poor Cabela constantly gets yelled at by Aniston if any dog in the neighborhood is barking.
3. We were driving to daycare this morning and I had a hand on my coffee cup in the car when I heard "that's grammy's coffee, YOU NO TOUCH IT!" Little miss bossy boots!
4. She is starting to remember things over night. For instance, Thursday night I was telling her that Ampa was going to pick her up at daycare Friday and she would be spending the night with him and Grammy Rose. Friday morning she woke up and said "Ampa and I open the door for the cows today". Not quite sure where she got that but it had me busting up at 7:00 am.
5. Saturday mom, gram, Aniston and I went to Applebee's for lunch. There was a little boy in the booth behind us and he and Aniston kept grinning at each other. He was eating a french fry and Aniston says to him "hi boy, it's good yes?".
She's quite the little character and is CONSTANTLY talking but it's usually quite funny with what she comes up with. I just love that little thing!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANISTON LEE!!!

Today is Aniston's 2nd birthday. I can't believe two years ago today, she came into our lives. I'll never forget how hard this pregnancy was nor how it was worth every minute on bedrest, every stay in the hospital and every stick of the needle taking blood, testing blood sugar and giving insulin. Aniston was due 04/01/2007 but decided to make her debut early. Valentine's Day that year, I was having horrible back pain all day and around 4:00 decided to go to the doctor. After being hooked up to a monitor, it was determined I was in labor....PANIC! Erik and I were sent to the hospital where they were able to stop the contractions after putting me on magnesium. There I got to stay, in that wonderful hospital bed, for a week having constant blood draws, insulin injections, steriod injections and checks by the nurses to make sure she were doing alright.

After a week, the dr. determined she should be healthy enough to come out. Everyone came to the hospital and being a typical stubborn Robertson, she decided she was too nice and comfy and that she'd stay in for awhile longer. Two weeks later of me being on bedrest Aniston again decided to make her debut. At 9:14 on March 5, 2007 Aniston Lee Martinez was delivered via c-section at Central Washington Hospital. She was 4 weeks premature but still weighed in at 10lbs 3 ozs. Another week later, we were both discharged and able to go home. Such a long process but again....so worth it.
My little chubby bunny! Look at those cheeks! Nurses would come into my hospital room to "see the baby with the cheeks". She looked like a toddler in the nursery next to the 8lb babies.

Aniston's first photo shoot. We would also find out this week that she is lactose intolerant. That was a big relief as with just a switch of formula....she went from a very unhappy baby to a very, very happy one.
After this picture session...Auntie Leasha and Auntie Brandy convinced me to get her ears pierced. She wasn't happy for all of 5 seconds and then was over it.
Aniston in her jumper. She loved this thing.

Aniston's first mother/daughter trip. We went shopping in Bellevue for the weekend and stayed at the Hilton. The pool was way too cold...so her she is in the hot tub. I love her chubby little arms.

This is Aniston's alter ego "Shaniston". Shaniston would come to visit when Aniston was crabby. Auntie Leasha brought Shaniston to visit mommy at work. Love the doo rag Auntie.
Aniston and daddy's first professional photo together. This little white dress of hers was his favorite. She had already done her individual pictures and was tired of the camera and ripped her hair ties out.
This was Aniston's first Christmas present to Erik. He LOVES Tatupu from the Seahawks so we had her pictures done in his jersy. Our little Seagal.
Self-explanatory picture....Aniston and daddy in the pool.
I had Aniston's pictures done at Manito Park in Spokane. Apparently she was feeling feisty and decided to flash the ducks.
Happy 2nd Birthday Aniston Lee. You bring so much joy to our lives and we couldn't imagine it without out. You are the center of our world and we cherish every day we get to spend with you. Love, Daddy & Mommy
